Mount Pisgah Academy

October 24, 2026

(Testimony by Carlton Robinson, Carolina Conference Trust Services Director)

My parents did not have the privilege of growing up in an Adventist school. However, they believed that Adventist education was the best investment they could make for their family. They accepted an invitation to become Adventist educators and then sacrificed to send all their children to church school. There were higher paying career options and more economical schools to choose from, but I am so grateful for their choice.

Adventist church school provided me with energetic teachers and classroom friends whom I still know and love today. In academy, I learned personal responsibility for balancing my time between work and recreation. They had guardrails in place to help guide me in a positive direction. In college, I rubbed shoulders with aspiring young people on the path to change the world. Their confidence grounded in God’s grace continues to inspire me to stretch to my potential.

Adventist education isn’t flawless—none of us are. But it is a journey of faith where God promises to provide all you need to meet the challenges of life. He delivered on His promises to me, and I know He can do the same for you.

Our offering today is for Mount Pisgah Academy. Our gifts ensure that this school can continue to train our growing students personally, professionally and spiritually, as they journey with us to our heavenly home.
